World Aids Day: Know your status

Government is stressing the importance of prevention and the right to know your HIV status.

Deputy President, Cyril Ramaphosa says they want to make testing accessible to more people.

Ramaphosa delivered the the country's main World Aids Day commemoration address in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape this afternoon.

"We plan to launch a national HIV, TB and non-communicable disease screening and testing campaign next year to reach the most vulnerable people and people who have HIV but do not know this and are also not on treatment," he said.
