Eight times Bonang Matheba put South Africa on the map

From being the first local star to grace the cover the international magazine 'Cleo' to being named as one of Forbes Africa’s 50 Most Powerful Women 2020, here is how Bonang Matheba has been raising the South African flag high.
Bonang Matheba is without a doubt South Africa’s biggest media personality.
She is a radio host, TV presenter, global MC, and a style icon. She is also a phenomenal businesswoman who runs a production company that produces her reality shows and has her own winemaking business.
Bonang is a firm believer in giving back to society. She runs a bursary programme for the underprivileged young girls in South Africa.

She has been on the cover of many magazines, including international ones.
Here are some of Bonang's international successes:
- She is a Global Citizen ambassador
- She was named as one of Forbes Africa’s 50 Most Powerful Women 2020
- She is a Global Brand Ambassador for Revlon Cosmetics
- In 2015, Bonang was named the 'African Woman Of The Year' by the New African Woman Magazine
- She also received the award for the 'Female Continental Style Influencer Of The Year' by Abryanz Fashion Awards (Uganda) in November 2015
- Bonang received the 'Star Power Award' at the African Women Awards in Zimbabwe in November 2015
- She is the first local star to grace the cover of International magazine, Cleo (October 2011)
