Meanwhile in the province, a Political Counsellor Brian Phibbs says the results so far, have been much closer than expected - considering the lead Clinton had at the polls ahead of the elections.
He has been commenting on Trump's win in Ohio.
"So Ohio is an important state but with only 19 electoral votes, it's not the only state or the state with the most votes in play. Right now I think, people are very much watching the states of Michigan and Wisconsin where Donald Trump is doing much better than expected," he said.
States which have yet to release voting results are Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Michigan, Minnesota, Maine and Arizona.
