Peta tricks people into drinking ‘dog’s milk’
Shoppers love testing out new products
while out shopping, but what would you do if you realised the free milk sample
you drank was actually dog’s milk?
Animal rights group Peta conducted an experiment recently that saw them promoting a new dairy product.
They held focus groups and dished out samples to London shoppers.
People were then asked what they thought of the milk.

“Tastes kind of sweet,” one man noted.
“It’s like a milkshake basically, but smooth,” a woman mused.
But their opinions soon changed when they were told they were not drinking cow’s milk, but rather dog’s milk.

The taste testers were less than impressed, with many spitting it out immediately.
“Would you ever drink that madness?” a woman fumed.
The good news for the unsuspecting guinea pigs is that they were actually drinking soya milk, and Peta just wanted them to think twice about drinking milk produced from animals.
“But if the thought of drinking dogs’ milk makes you feel ill, why drink the milk from any other animal?” Peta asked on its UK website.
“Humans are the only species on the planet that drinks another animal's milk, and cows' milk is no more natural for us than dogs' milk. When it comes to drinking milk past breastfeeding age, plant-based is best,” Peta director Elisa Allen told the Mirror.
