Lebo Masike says she started yoga three years ago and hasn't looked back since. Take a look at this video guide to a few simple poses that will help get you stretched and ready ahead of a run.

I started yoga three years ago, purely out of curiosity, with a 45 minutes class once a week.

I loved how I could quieten my mind and challenge my body to do poses I never thought possible.

I then read up on the amazing benefits yoga has for runners and I officialy fell in love!

I have become a much stronger runner with fewer injuries as a result.

Currently I do yoga three times a week and the longest class I attend is 90 minutes. I am looking forward to the day I can do two hours of yoga... :)

My instructor, Megan Medina, takes us through a few poses which are especially beneficial for runners below.
