Worst Christmas presents ever!
What DON’T you want for Christmas?
A few of our presenters have been time-warping back to the times they got some rather “interesting” gifts….
“Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but the worst gift I received for Christmas would probably be the iconic most talked about bum bag my aunt gave me many moons ago,” shares Jane Linley-Thomas.
“Basically it was inflatable beach bag that you wore around your waist (On the beach. Picture it) and it could hold your sunscreen, keys and water bottle. Glory be.”

Speaking of pictures, Deon Govender wasn’t impressed when he unwrapped one of his gifts a few years back. “Someone actually gave me a frame. Err, I still don't know what to do with it.” Err, most people usually put in a photo Deon but we see where you’re coming from.
Pity Zaba’s ex-boyfriend couldn’t see things from her point of view. One of her exes once gave the fashionista a snake skin purse and handbag. “It totally freaked me out! I'm not afraid of snakes or anything but I hated the fact that it was made from a dead animal!” Guess we know why he's an ex!
Damon Beard also has a horror gift story to share. “I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing,” he shudders, thinking back on that one Christmas when someone gave him a box of opened, half-eaten chocolates! “I was so disgusted!” And rightfully so, Damon! Who on earth doesn’t eat a whole box of choccies?!
As toe-curling as the above true stories are, Wes Reddy tops them all. The weekend presenter has just five words to describe his worst ever festive gift: “Socks. I hate getting socks!” Ah lighten up Wes! It could’ve been worse. You could’ve got a framed pic of a half-eaten sock that you could carry around in a snake-skin inflatable bag on the beach!
