You find the man of your dreams. You “click” on every level and are already talking of a long future together. Problem is his mother hates you. Sound familiar?

Bradley Cooper may be one of Hollywood’s hunkiest A-listers, but he’s still a mummy’s boy. The Hangover star not only listens to whatever advice his mum dishes out but he also lives with his mother.

Last month Brad revealed that his mum moved in two years ago, when his dad died of cancer. The actor said the loss was so traumatic for him and his mum that he wanted her close so they could support each other.

Bradley has often been seen around Hollywood with mum, Gloria Cooper (pictured below). She was even his date to the Oscars earlier this year.

All hunky dory so far, you think, but wait….here’s the catch: Mamma Cooper has a big say in her son’s love life. When Bradley broke up with longterm girlfriend Zoe Saldana, no-one was more devastated than Gloria. She loved Zoe. The two women got along very well and Gloria regarded the actress as her daughter. In fact, she’s been doing everything she can to get Bradley to take Zoe back.

But it didn’t work. Now Bradley, 38, is dating 20 year old model, Suki Waterhouse and his mother is not impressed. While the Oscar nominated star is smitten with his young love, Gloria feels Suki is just using her son to launch her own Hollywood career.

An insider has revealed: “Bradley’s mom is determined to short-circuit the budding romance. She hit the roof after she overheard Suki bragging to friends that Bradley was going to help launch her acting career.

“She thinks Suki is pumping Bradley to introduce her to his high-powered showbiz friends – and then she’ll drop him.

“Bradley’s mom is his rock, and he listens to all of her advice.

“When push comes to shove, he will definitely choose his mom over Suki.”
