Throw in fresh air and a magnificent view and you've got what promises to be a morning to remember!
Tens of thousands of people are expected to walk Durban together on Sunday, 24 May 2015, making happy memories and taking healthy selfies.
East Coast Breakfast host, Darren Maule, has been rounding up the troops at ECR headquarters. “What a great way to spend quality time with those close to you while getting some exercise. Plus, you get to take in the best promenade in the country!” he says.
“You’ll also get to hang out with some pretty cool people from all around KZN,” says East Coast Breakfast co-host, Natarah Nadesan, adding, “You’ll definitely make new friends. Selfies will be taken and phone numbers will be exchanged. So come walk Durban with us!”
Natarah and Darren will join other presenters along the routes, playing some great music, handing out spot-prizes and getting people moving. It will be an all-round festive atmosphere from the start at uShaka Marine World right through to the finish at People’s Park, Moses Mabhida Stadium.
There are four distances – 5km, 10km, 15km and the timed 20km.
Entry forms are at selected Totalsports stores or you can sign up at a reduced rate online.
