Bear pulls 13th race stunt at Durban July
The unofficial 13th race at the Vodacom Durban July features a naked dash down the main straight…thankfully usually once the sun has gone down.
This year Bear Underwear decided to get in on the action.
A team of Bear runners competed in the dash - proudly displaying a banner that read: “Ditch the Jockeys, Go Bear”; no doubt a good-natured dig at a rival underwear company.
Free pairs of men’s underwear were handed out to naked runners at the end of the race, grateful to hide their bare necessities behind the Bear necessities.
