President unfazed by personal attacks: Edward Zuma
Updated | By Shaun Ryan
Responding to the events that unfolded in the National Assembly during the State of the Nation Address, President Jacob Zuma's son says last night's chaotic scenes embarrassed South Africa on the international stage.
The President's formal address was delayed by more than an hour in Parliament last night.
He says the behaviour of some Members of Parliament was unnecessary and disrespected the South African Constitution.
EFF MP Mbuyiseni Ndlozi asked the President to leave the house - calling him a constitutional delinquent.
A brawl erupted when the party was then forcefully removed. The DA also staged a walkout but not before Chief Whip John Steenhuisen accused President Zuma of breaking South Africa.
Edward Zuma says his father would not be fazed by the personal attacks. LISTEN to the full interview below.
