A raring question that hasn't always had a hard 'yes' or 'no' came up today as we watched a popular video on TikTok emerge after the protests in Piet Retief. The video is a clip of the protests and shows two guys just standing around minding their business, not engaging, and staying calm throughout it all.

So we ask: Is it acceptable to mind your own business and is minding your business in some way a response? Ponder on that for a bit...

Traditionally, you find people swaying way left or right when it comes to this topic - mind your business and drink your water or get involved and get that water thrown in your face. Who's to say which is the right way to look at it? Objectively, there are pros and cons to each side and it has a lot to do with the circumstance.

What do you think? - is it cool to just 'soma' mind your business?
