Would you rather keep your dog or keep your girlfriend?
It's never easy choosing between the things you love the most. But what if it's the only option you have left?
Some households prefer their pets, like dogs or cats, not to sleep on the living room furniture, like the couch.

Other households have no problem having their furry friends curl up right beside them.
Some choose to give their doggies a full cooked meal, while others are happy with dried dog food.

To each their own and one of these scenarios isn't necessarily better than the other. It all depends on the people.
Generally, people in the same household agree on how pets should be treated.

So what do you do when the following happens?
"Hey Vic,
My girlfriend of five months refuses to let my puppy sleep on the bed with us.
She says her rule is that dogs belong on the floor and not on the bed.
I’ve always allowed my dogs to sleep on the bed as they are part of the family.
My girlfriend will not sleep in the bed if my puppy is there too and she says I need to choose between her and the dog.
It’s making things really difficult.
