Woman sues over microwaveable mac and cheese taking longer than 3.5 minutes to make!

Eek, we are sure they never expected that lawsuit!
Microwaveable food isn't our first choice when it comes to a meal.
However, it is certainly an appealing choice for people when it comes to ease and convenience.
We guess that is why two-minute noodles became such a hit with people?
Kraft Company is a well-known American food manufacturer and are known for their range of foods.
But they are not in the good books over their convenient microwaveable foods this time.
"The Kraft Company markets its microwaveable cups as "ready in 3.5 minutes" but Amanda Ramirez says it takes longer. The $5m (£4.2m/R86m) lawsuit claims the time advertised does not include preparation time - opening the lid and sauce pouch, before adding water and stirring." (BBC)
The Kraft Company responded to the lawsuit saying that it was "frivolous" and that they would strongly defend the complaint.
"In the lawsuit, which was filed in a Florida court last month, Ms Ramirez's lawyers claim she paid more than she would have had she known the truth. The lawsuit also asks the company to "cease its deceptive advertising" and "be made to engage in a corrective advertising campaign"." (BBC)

And, get this, this isn't the first time that a US customer has sued a company for false advertising.
All in all, it isn't a new concept where customers have complained about what is advertised and what is actually delivered - and the fact that they don't match.
For now, the lawsuit is still in action and we will wait to see what happens.
