Woman sues her boyfriend for not proposing after eight years

One of the most important conversations you need to have in a relationship is the "marriage talk".

At some point, maybe after a few years of dating, people will start to develop expectations of where the relationship will be going/ending up.
In other words: am I wasting my time or will we be spending the rest of our lives together?

So it really shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that some women have made it very clear that they have had enough!
Like the story of the woman who stormed into a supermarket wearing a wedding dress and demanding her boyfriend to marry her then and there.

Following in her footsteps is Gertrude Ngoma who told a Zambian court that she feels her boyfriend isn't serious about their relationship.
They've been together for eight years and she has waited long enough for a ring, which he has promised her multiple times.

Being as fed up as she is, she decided to take her boyfriend, Herbert Salaliki, to court and have him outline his plans for the future.
The couple even has a child together and Herbert used this in his defense saying he doesn't have the finances to afford a wedding right now.

He then also went on to state that he has been holding back in the relationship because Gertrude has not been giving him enough attention.
Just like the judge presiding over the case, we feel that these two should drop the kid at the babysitter, have a romantic date night, and reconcile their differences out of court.
