Definitely not
the reason we would think of to find your lookalike…
We’ve heard of people who are eager to find their doppelgängers, but never did we think that someone would go in search of their lookalike for this reason.
“A young woman in Germany is believed to have taken part in an elaborate murder plot in order to stage her own death.” (Business Insider)
It was reported that the 23-year-old woman could be identified as Sharaban K, and she searched social media as part of an elaborate murder scheme.
Shabaran K found a woman who resembled her and planned to meet with her in late August 2022.
Then, in mid-August, a woman who looked a lot like Shabaran K was found with more than 50 stab wounds.
“However, following an autopsy report, police identified the victim as 23-year-old Khadidja O, an Algerian beauty blogger from Eppingen in the neighboring state of Baden-Württemberg, per The Guardian.” (Business Insider)

It has been assumed that Shabaran K wanted to go into hiding due to internal family issues and therefore wanted to fake her own death.
Sheesh, talk about going the extra mile in convincing people you’re dead…
“Sharaban K, along with a friend, Sheqir K, picked up the victim in their car, drove her to a forest near Ingolstadt, and allegedly stabbed her to death.” (Business Insider)
Criminal proceedings have ensued and if the two are found guilty, they will be serving out life sentences.
