Woman fills up at her Shell garage and then says she doesn't have the R733.10 to pay!

When tweeps come together to help a petrol attendant...
As we feel the pinch or should we say the punch of the petrol price knock many of us down. We see a story about a person who just took full advantage of a petrol attendant who was left with her petrol bill.
A tweet sharing some information about what happened said:
A lady driving Silver/grey Ford Fiesta ref: DV99XBGP went to shell garage New road Midrand poured petrol worth R733.10, when it was time to pay she said she forgot her wallet. She never went back to pay. She must go pay the money that was deducted on the petrol attendants salary pic.twitter.com/whoCCspTtE

Firstly, this is absolutely crazy, how can you go to the petrol station without the money, but even more than that, why did you never return with the money? Did she really think she could get away with it?
Well...
The sharing of this sent many people off on a rant of frustration, and rightfully so. But more than that it reminded us of how a community (regardless of location) can come together and right a wrong in the most humble of ways.

I am in contact with Shell, New Road, and am making the arrangements to pay the bill plus a tip for the attendant.

Of course there were some comments that were not worthy of sharing, just tweeps being tweeps. But this allowed some people to share their own petrol stories, where they forgot their cards or cash and made arrangements to go back and pay.
The incident occurred at the beginning of February, but really gets us in our feels with the recent hike in fuel...
I once went to a petrol ⛽ after work, and had my last R150, I asked for r150 petrol and he filled R300. I asked him to call his manager, he apologized atleast, n came back with the manager. I made an arrangement to come back n pay n I did. Ubuntu nje mara guess not all of us 😕

One of the few people that will do that. I've seen people scream and refuse to pay the extra amount. These attendants are human too they make mistakes. Now they must pay for the fuel in your car.
