This is why you should never cross train tracks

Videos such as these show us that any type of safety measure is there for a reason and should not be ignored.

When you think about trains, there is always a sense of romance about them.
Like a start of a movie or the end of a movie where you meet someone mysterious whilst travelling through the railways of Europe.
But the truth behind it all is that trains come with a long line of safety measures; measures that aren't always respected by passengers nor pedestrians.
There have been incidents in the past where people have been found illegally crossing railway tracks.
Some are lucky, but others not so much.
One very vivid example of how things could go terribly wrong was shared on the CrazyClipsOnly Twitter page.
And it shows a man crossing the lines with his motorbike.

We highly doubt insurance will pay for that bike...
And rightfully so. Far too often we think about the time we will save by using a shortcut, but more often than not it ends up being a shortcut to one's death or, even worse, it affects someone else's life.
When will we realise that there are no shortcuts to life?
