What would you do if you saw a R100 note lying on the ground?

What would you do if you saw a R100 note lying on the ground?

It's instinctive to want to pick up money from the floor, as it's something of a live jackpot, but the question is, what if it's not yours...

A group of pranksters thought they would test a theory out and found that if money is seen lying around, most people would gun for it.

Pranksters printed what looked like R100 and R200 notes on sticky paper and stuck them on the ground outside shop fronts.

They stood around to video what people would do and the results were everything we thought it would be.

Look, it's one thing to pick up money that you dropped on the ground, but a whole other thing to pick up money that isn't yours.

The truth is that when you find money lying on the ground, it is instinctive to pick it up and immediately assume, 'finder's keepers'.

Check out the video below that shows how many people tried to get their hands on the note.
