What is the worst birthday you’ve ever had?
One East Coaster shared a story of how she was outshone on
three consecutive birthdays.
So, one of the things that you don’t know about me is that I share a birthday with my mother.
Yes, it’s very weird but she and I were born on the same day.
So, every year around the same time we each just have to pretend we’re not doing anything while we’re both planning each other’s gifts.
But the weird part is that I always feel like her birthday outshines mine.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had people call her to wish her happy birthday and then wish me happy birthday as a by-the-way.
But regardless of that, we still always try and celebrate.
But one listener, Carrie-Ann, has been through it all. She has had people in her life ruin, not one, not two, but three birthdays.
My Stepbrother announced that his girlfriend was pregnant and then proposed to her at my 21st!! I was not impressed. My sister got engaged on my 18th and got married on my 20th obviously my siblings love my birthday.
