Weather updates: Can we put the washing out?
Updated | By East Coast Radio
We thought we would put a quick weather update together for you so that you can plan your weekend without any surprises. But in Durban, is that really possible?
So with the cold weather that has hit KZN this week, we are are sure the laundry basket must be overflowing... Or maybe you just want to be prepared for the weekend by planning ahead.
If that's the case, then we are here for you. It seems that the sun is out in most parts of Durban today, but we are still feeling the chill in the air, so wearing a hoodie isn't a bad idea.

According to the weather people, there seems to be a low chance of rain for the rest of the day, so some dryer roads than yesterday on the cards for us on our way home.
Saturday - the start of the official weekend, day one of resting, looks sunny and bright, so take out that washing powder and wake up early to get the most out of the sun. The temperatures are reaching highs of 19 °C and minimums of 11 °C. Remember, you need clothes for the new week...
There doesn't seem to be any rain predicted for the day but be sure to keep ECR on in the background to listen out for any updates.
Sunday - the official 'rest' day is also looking sunny throughout the day with maximum temperatures reaching 22 °C. There are some clouds featuring through the day though.
There is a low chance of precipitation, so perhaps you could spend some time soaking up some of the winter sunrays, not too much though (mum always said that too much of the winter sun isn't good for you - we never dared ask why?).
Temperatures are lower than what we are used to so stay warm and make sure to keep up with your vitamins, fruits, and veggies, your immunity needs all the support it can get.
