We're interested to see if this helped her at all...
Social media is anything short of trends. We don't turn a second and a new dance, fashion, creative, food or beauty trend is born.
In this case it was something truly, truly unexpected.
A woman posted a video to her TikTok page questioning her overindulgent trust in strangers on the internet, and her trust issues have us questioning her choices too...
She says that she has been struggling with her perimenopausal acne for some time now.
Sounds like she is willing to try anything to help with her acne. Truthfully, it can be daunting when your skin isn't on point.
So to some extent we can understand why she would be willing to follow the advice of an influencer.
In this case it was upon the advisement of popular TikToker, Elyse Myers, the girl that gained her popularity after sharing a bad date story.

@burnzy_the_burnz The way I trust strangers on the internet is concerning, but I'll try anything! #elysemyers #headandshoulders #acne #perimenopause @Elyse Myers ♬ Monkeys Spinning Monkeys - Kevin MacLeod & Kevin The Monkey

Believe it or not, we found several duet videos done with the original Elyse Myers recommendation. And get this, they support it...
