From TikTok dance routines to the old school #IceBucketChallenge, everyone loves a social media challenge.
Now the latest challenge involves pretending to be an influencer.

All you have to do is pretend that you're filming a tutorial or content similar to that of a typical influencer in front of a family or friends. Then instead of filming yourself, flip the camera and record the other person's reaction to your fake filming.
The trend has been making the rounds on TikTok for a while now, but one attempt has now gone viral.

With one-million views and counting, this has become bigger than 18-year-old Nombulelo Patricia Sithole ever could have imagined when she set out to record her family's reaction.

The high school student from Boksburg didn't even think she would participate in the challenge until she decided to do it and alter it in a way that would make her family enjoy it with her.
Her family caught on to her when she started laughing along with them, but she was happy that she was able to lift their spirits for a short while

She is also glad that the video going viral means that it brought some joy and laughter to others as well.
Her #InfluencerChallenge definitely put a smile on our faces.
