When you do something silly and it's caught on video...
We all have those moments of silliness when we think to ourselves, what on earth was I thinking? Nevertheless, sometimes these things happen, our brains go on auto pilot and we forget how to use our common sense when approaching a task.
Sometimes, very rarely, things work out in our favour but other times, they turn out horribly wrong. Watch an episode of 'ER' or 'The Resident' and you will see how things can go terribly wrong for people.
Whether it involves losing a toe whilst mowing the lawn, or using your wife's shampoo bottle for things you shouldn't be using it for...
Accidents happen and sometimes we can shrug it off and laugh about it, but when people have footage, well then it lives forever, in torture mode... That is what happened in this case when a father didn't really think through where he was placing the ladder...

After watching it and re-watching it, we keep thinking, how could you really think that the fold table was sturdy enough to hold the ladder and yourself? It makes no sense...
But we guess that's why it's called an accident or complete fail, in this case. We assume he is okay, considering we saw some movement after the fall.
These things happen, but there is a huge lesson in it that we think everyone should take away from it all. Sometimes taking the time to think things through and weigh out all the options can benefit you. Also, this is a great time to invest in some safety training for the family, unless that was the point of him doing this, to show his kids what NOT to do...
If that was the case then we retract our statement and give this man a big thumbs up for being innovative...
