Natalie is totally blind and she shares a special message about true kindness still being in existence...
With the pandemic it hasn't been easy for many restaurants, not just in South Africa but around the world. The restrictions on the number of patrons, to staff, to alcohol, and so much more.
But this restaurant didn't fall short when it came to creating a one-of-a-kind birthday experience for Natalie, a woman who is totally blind. They certainly went the extra mile when it comes to making her feel special and also restoring our faith when it comes to kindness.
There's so much hate that gets thrown around daily, moreover on social media. We try to keep it lighthearted but sometimes we see things that just make us wonder what people have gone through for them to behave in such vile ways.
So when it comes to promoting mental health and positive stories, we think that every bit of kindness, especially that shared on social media, should be highlighted. We all need a splash of positivity now and then, and nowadays it seems we need it more frequently.
So here is your daily dose of kindness, a story that shows that people can be kind and inspire others to be too, just by doing something simple but truly everlasting on the memory portal.

Her messaging says it all: "And this is the moment that the lengths the restaurant staff went to in order to wish me Happy Birthday...They had the chef write, Happy Birthday in BRAILLE...using Melted chocolate."

Many people came on to comment, saying that watching this really brought tears to their eyes. The restaurant is Luciano's on the Strand in London, and they were praised for their efforts in bringing Natalie such joy over something so unique, yet simple.
