Safety checks out the window on this flight...
It's holiday time and many families from all around the world are taking this opportunity to travel.
In South Africa, it is the winter holidays, so many families are traveling to find warmer destinations.
Now if you've taken a flight, you will know that the safety check is the most important part before take off, but once you've heard one safety briefing, you get the picture.
Not to say that you shouldn't listen to the safety briefings.
Because this happened last week and it is a miracle that everything ended safely and soundly for these passengers.
"Passengers leaving an Emirates flight on Friday spotted a large hole gouged into the side of the plane after it landed in Brisbane, Australia." (Independent)
"The Airbus A380 traveled without any interference. According to Emirates the big hole did not have any effect on 'the fuselage, frame or structure of the aircraft'." (Independent)
Passengers reported that they felt the incident causing the hole may have taken place at take-off...
It obviously wasn't that big a deal considering the plane was still operational. Thankfully.
