WATCH: Pedestrian runs straight into truck and gets run over!
Updated | By East Coast Radio
This looks absolutely shady, we cannot say for certain but it looks like an opportunistic accident.
A video that was shared on Twitter shows something of an extremity - a person, who we assume to be homeless, does the unthinkable.
In the video, we see a person wearing a long coat walking on the side of the road. The person seems to be barefoot.
The road seems deserted, and then all of a sudden, we see the person look back and begin to run toward the centre of the road.
It almost looks like the person is running toward a vehicle.
Now, there is this thing that we have heard of in the past, where some people cause accidents on purpose so that they can claim from the Road Accident Fund.

We're not saying that this was the case here, but it sure did look suspicious.
However, we are no means saying that is what happened here. Many people are going through so much that they cannot bare another day living, and for all we know this could've been a suicide attempt.
And if it was, we hope that it didn't end this way. Mental health is a tricky space, one that isn't always diagnosable or treated correctly.

I once drove to Cresta mall and one of the homeless people came to my car and threw himself on it in the front, luckily I was by the robots and the car was not speeding. I asked him if he was alright and he said I could have killed him. I was shaken 😞
