Mistakes are part of life, there's no way that you can move through life without making one. So just as it is a part of life, we have to remember that when they happen, the best thing to do is to accept it, learn the lesson (if there is one), and move on.
But what happens if that mistake ruined the moment that you were waiting for your whole life?
The Olympics is a goal many athletes have given their entire lives to get to achieve. So in that true spirit, we can understand how competitive these athletes have been groomed to be.
But it's not always what you think it is. As much as it can be a competitive environment, and rightfully so, it is also an environment that teaches athletes to stay humble. Because you never know what may happen...
A video that shows the figure skaters standing on the podium awaiting their medals has received some attention online. It can be taken as an awkward moment or we could choose to take it as celebrating the camaraderie that so often appears in sports.

As we are somewhat ruled by entertainment culture, in which reality TV has honed in on the drama around pretty much everything, it can be difficult to stick to the good morals and values.
