WATCH: Not the kind of showstopper you want to have at Cannes?!
Updated | By East Coast Radio
We guess it's one way of getting noticed...
We have seen some fashion mayhems in our time and, honestly, they all give us the heebie-jeebies.
Because we doubt any sane, levelheaded person would want to have a fashion mishap on purpose, unless they have a crazy PR person who loves drama.
You know those types that say, any type of press is better than no press? We're not sure we are on the same page on that one...
It is why when we saw this video, we really felt for this woman, and we were just furious with the designer.
Because we believe the first rule of thumb for any designer is to make sure there is a sense of practicality to the design.
Looking great and being a showstopper is one thing, but having your dress fall apart on the model says something bad about your skill.

In the video taken by a TikToker who goes by the name Laimin, we see a fatal dress mishap happening to a socialite who is about to walk the red carpet at the 75th Cannes Film Festival.
The festival took place this year May and hosted the who's who of society. You can imagine there were many people wearing some outstanding designs.
For this woman, it was a dreaded affair when as she was walking, she noticed her dress started coming apart.

The woman, who was identified as Lady Victoria Hervey, wore a gold, open back gown that was running quite low down her back.
Lady Victoria Hervey is an English model, socialite, aristocrat, and former "It girl". The 45-year-old was daring in her backless, braless shimmering gold dress.
So much so that the side looked like it needed to be secured. But someone came to her aid, so there was no chance of nudity, thankfully.
