We remember watching 'Scream' and always feeling like the script was a little bit too predictable when it came to the slashing, the creepy telephone calls, and the get away scenes.
But somehow we were always surprised as to who the killer or in some cases, killers, were. Movies such as 'Scream' came out leaving us wanting more, even though we knew what was coming...
"With Scream undergoing the soft reboot/sequel treatment next year, the standard for the new movie is “is anything in this as scary as Casey being attacked at home? Based on the new trailer…maybe. They’re clearly recreating the home invasion for the digital age, with a hacked home security system and an incongruous landline. Who still has those? Even my parents got rid of their landline," Lainey Gossip Blog muses.
This really got us feeling spine chills, considering everything surrounds our tech gadgets these days. It is also a great twist in the story which brings in the modern element.
