The first Muslim-American superhero for Marvel...
It's easy to fall in love with the world of superheroes. If anything, it leaves us feeling like we can literally do anything. Well, not always but if you believe it enough, something close to being unstoppable is definitely attainable.
The new Marvel series, 'Ms. Marvel', shares a story of Kamala Khan. The comic has now evolved into a series with Kamala Khan proving to be "every bit as endearing and relatable as her comic iteration." (CNN)
The trailer reveals a very much standardised high school life of the anti-hero. And just like that it shows us a view into the life of the superhero Ms. Marvel, who literally is living out her ultimate dream.
"Kamala, a Muslim, Pakistani-American high schooler from New Jersey who doodles and daydreams about one day joining the superheroes she idolizes. Though one day our teenage hero (played by Iman Vellani) will become one of Marvel's most powerful crime fighters, the series appears to serve as her origin story." (CNN)

She certainly describes being a superhero perfectly when she says, "it's cosmic." Makes you want to put on your cape and fly off the roof...
Okay, maybe we are overdoing it, but series like this is what will create a new generation of thinking.
That we can and we will conquer over evil. The hero is in all of us...
