A mouse was found nibbling on some food in a supermarket and it was caught on video - and people are up in arms about it all...
The TikTok user, @Definebritt aka Brittany Ellis, visited a Whole Foods store with her mother, who she says loves to shop there, and low and behold, the non-supporter found a mouse just nibbling away at a piece of veal.
The store manager did address the case, however, Brittany Ellis did a debrief of the whole situation on her YouTube account. She videoed the mouse and gave the little guy his debut online. After recording it, she attempted on several occasions to try and bring it to the attention of the staff, but to no avail.

The video on TikTok has had over 3.8-million views. Many people commented on the post joking around about the mouse being hungry too. A comment that left us feeling like we wish we could press the rewind button was by Mitzi c:
"I worked in grocery for years. Believe me, there's definitely rats in your local store. 'High end' or not. Sometimes they come in truck palettes."

As a consumer, we would like to believe that all outlets take the necessary steps to ensure that any sort of pest problem is kept at bay. But the reality is that not everyone is as pedantic about cleanliness as you may be.
In this case, the store's manager, which is located in New York, USA, was said to have acted as if he cared but it didn't translate into anything as he walked away without actually addressing it.

Of course, it's not easy to manage a situation that is most likely out of your control, however, any sort of acknowledgement is better than none.
We vote for regular health and safety checks by officials and for regular spot checks to be done. In any case, this pandemic has taught us to focus on a lifestyle that involves continuous hygienic practices.
