Birthdays are special, they are meant to bring out the best in everyone. We get into celebration mode when it comes to birthdays and we haven't been short of that around here, since it was East Coast Radio's birthday last weekend, as well as our very own Vic Naidoo's.
Vic Naidoo recently celebrated his birthday with his mum, yes, you read right, they share a birthday. So when we saw this video, we thought what a nice way to celebrate the bond between mother and son than by sharing this...
This son wanted to publicly proclaim to a train filled with passengers that it was his mother's birthday. Little did she know that he would be sharing her age with everyone as well...
It got us thinking if, firstly, is it okay to share your loved one's age without their approval? Secondly, have you ever gotten into trouble for sharing a loved one's age?

Despite sharing his mom's age, we think that moment at the end of the video when everyone finishes singing, she really appreciated the public display of love and affection from her son.
It's rare for many kids to still have a strong relationship with their parents. With the diverse dynamics that make each family unique, we think that the sentiment displayed here was exactly what we needed to celebrate with Vic and his mum.
