We are all for pushing your body to reach its ultimate levels of fitness, as it also pushes your mind to be healthy. Yes, the connection between the two is more intertwined than we care to give them credit.

When it comes to squats, planking, and wall sits, it's most definitely a mental and physical affair. So when it comes to breaking world records, we cheer on Dareen Barbar for firstly attempting the longest Samson's chair/Static wall sit in the female category.

"Dareen has an above knee left leg amputation (LA1), and her record was attempted in conjunction with the launch of the Guinness World Records Impairment Records Initiative, which includes classification categories for those with physical, intellectual and visual impairments," Guinness World Records states.

We have a new level of respect for her for even attempting it, but then she goes and smashes it by breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest static wall sit, with a time of 2 minutes and 8.24 seconds.

And here we thought that 30 seconds an accomplishment!

She broke the record earlier this month, on the 4th of June, and this date was quite significant to her...

We are in awe of you and your inspirational and positive way of living. It goes to show that if you want something, you can definitely achieve it, it takes hard work, but it also take a positive mindset and a "can do" attitude.
