WATCH: A contractor destroys a newly developed building because of an unpaid bill
Updated | By East Coast Radio
A classic case of acting out of anger and miscommunication...
If we look back at many disagreements, arguments, even wars, it all stems from the fact that many people haven't been able to communicate effectively with one another. Whether you are learned or not, we all have experienced miscommunication in one way or the other.
A contractor in Germany decided to show his developer that he meant business, after money that was owed to him was held back for "unjust" reasons, according to the contractor. He claimed that he was owed $5.8-million (R85-million) in outstanding debt.
The contractor went on to use his excavator to damage the luxury apartment building that hosted 30 apartments and the value of the damages equated to around $600,000, which is around R8.7-million.
Now, with no offence to the contractor, because we don't the full story, we are sure that in the spirit of being 'adult' there was a better way of handling this situation. As much as many people chose to take this approach, the best resolution is not always to throw your toys and start a tantrum...

If the contractor, who is said to be 47-years-old, would've just paused for a bit, perhaps he would have realised that damaging the property is one sure way of never getting your money!
According to Business Insider, he only stopped his rampage on the building because the excavator's hydraulic hose broke. Hmm, he even went on to damage the building's gas containers, which led to the authorities cordoning off parts of the area around the building for safety reasons.
