When a South African actress is earning praise abroad, you know you are doing something right...
South Africa has many things outside of our beautiful beaches, amazing wildlife, and scenic views. Outside of our beautiful country, we also have our prized people. We have always owned our diversity and part of that diversity holds our talent.
The Netflix series 'Blood and Water' was one such display when it comes to celebrating the varied levels of talent that we have in South Africa. In particular, Khosi Ngema, one of the stars on the series, is not just thriving in her acting.
She recently showed off her entrepreneurial skills by launching her jewellery collection. She shared that her father, actor Mangaliso Ngema, was the one who encouraged her to pursue launching her collection and moving outside of the entertainment industry.
I also get [my entrepreneurial spirit] from my dad. He's always encouraged me to be entrepreneurial and I just want to explore different fields if I can. I'm blessed that I am able to dabble in something like this. It's definitely new ground for me and it's definitely something I want to pursue and see how it goes.- Khosi Ngema
Check out her announcement for the release of her jewellery brand called, Grace The Brand. She shares that she named each of her jewellery pieces after her favourite musicians, the ones that have inspired her and her journey.

Her success was truly accentuated when she featured on Gabrielle Union-Wade's Instagram page as her Woman Crush a few Wednesdays ago. Union shared her love for Khosi by saying that at the age of just 21, she is already killing the game.

It's a beautiful thing that someone like her took the time to acknowledge me ... I just have gratitude that she actually recognised me, it's crazy and hopefully it means I'm doing something right.- Khosi Ngema
I went to Blood and Water season one with no earlier experience ... so when it blew up the way it did, it was a shocker for everyone ... I'm grateful because I've always wanted to do this my entire life, so I guess it was meant to be.- Khosi Ngema
