Watch: Big Brother contestants are forced to face their phobias
Updated | By Vic Naidoo
The Australian edition of the competition had an interesting twist for contestants in viral clip.
Housemates in this year’s edition of Big Brother knew they were in for a tough time but they surely didn’t expect this.
The contestants were pushed to their limits as they participated in a challenge to win food for the house.
After a week under lockup the rations had depleted rather quickly and to earn more food, each of the contestants had to face their fears.
They were each locked inside a small room with the thing that they fear most.
Some of the fears included knees, snakes and even a dog.
According to research a phobia can be learned due to the transmission of anxiety from a person in an individual’s childhood whether that’s a parent, guardian or sibling.
The top phobias we pass on to our children.
1. Arachnophobia – fear of spiders
2. Social Phobia – fear of social situations
3. Acrophobia – fear of heights
4. Cynophobia – fear of dogs
5. Aerophobia – fear of flying
