Vic Naidoo takes unfriending to a new level and shares it all this 'Unfriend Day'

Let's just say he believes in an eye for an eye...LOL
Today is National Unfriend Day and in honour of this day we decided to look inward and find out what this means to us. Of course, for some this day sounds like a harsh and somewhat mean thing to do.
But the truth is that being honest with one's self is of the highest importance. And if we have to be honest, unfriending can be associated with a self cleanse, it can be a time of letting go of the baggage, or negative people, or it can be petty.
Just to give you some info about the day and where it stems from, for context of course.
"On November 17, 2010, Jimmy Kimmel went on his nightly talk show to announce that it was National Unfriend Day. In this digital age, we’ve reached a threshold of social connections." (National Today)
This day was created as a way of cleansing, putting yourself first and celebrating your ability to simplify your connections online and just taking that step to unfriend and and every person who does not add joy to your online, social media experience.
We think that this day is definitely something that many of us need. It helps us stop and realise that social media should be something that we find engaging and in a way connecting. It shouldn't be toxic and unflattering.
So tell us what you think when it comes to the act of unfriending below. And take a listen to find out what Vic does when it comes to his 'friends' slash 'followers' on social media.
