Vic Naidoo: "My mom has really stood out for me this year!"
"She's shown me what a kind and good heart can mean in this world..."
Described as "fresh, inclusive, and unapologetic" doesn't always translate as welcoming to people.
But Vic Naidoo tends to be a jack in the box at the most pivotal moments in life.
One such moment happened to be when we asked him which person made an impression on him this year. And, of course, in true Vic style, he wowed us with his response.
Again, this year, my mum has really stood out for me. She has just shown me so much what a kind and good heart can be in this world. She has experienced so much loss this past year in terms of family members passing on. But she has managed to be a pillar of strength for her family. She has always been a source of strength and encouragement for my brother and I. She is just an example of what a good, kind, and caring person is.

Family is undoubtedly a big part of everyone's life, especially around this time of year.
And remembering what that means to you is definitely something to be grateful for.
What Vic did here was remind us of how life can place difficult obstacles in your path, but acting in love throughout it all is what determines your worth.
