Vic Naidoo and KZN are rooting for Tarra-Leigh to spoil her son this Christmas

An action that set off a positive response from our listeners...
Radio can be just as if not more emotive than television. As a media form, it can really be such a great way to deliver messages of hope, love, and care amongst people of all walks of life.
And in most cases, it can be such a guiding force to spreading light amongst people who really need it. It's like a chain reaction that just keeps reining in the good, and Vic Naidoo got to experience this with a caller on his 'Speedos and Shorts' feature on Monday.
After speaking to Tarra-Leigh, the caller who participated in the Speedos and Shorts feature, Vic Naidoo was moved by her story of wanting to win so that she can buy her son a Christmas gift. When we heard that she works as a car guard, we really admired her story.
And more than that, we were holding thumbs and toes for her, hoping that she would win so that her Christmas wish for her child could be fulfilled. Sadly, it was not meant to be for her to win on the show...
There was definitely more in store for her, though.
It started off with callers contacting the show's producer, Rory, sharing their eagerness to help Tarra-Leigh out this festive season. This is what we mean when we talk about radio being able to spread the good...
Thereafter, Vic Naidoo was tweeted by a listener who shared interest in wanting to help Tarra-Leigh out. It not only gave us goosebumps but also supported the spirit of this festive season. It's all about giving, about sharing, about spreading joy, and there's no doubt that this is what Tarra-Leigh's story set into motion...
