Travel company is offering people the chance to travel the world
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Sounds like a sweet deal, but the catch is you have to be based in the UK...
Travelling the world for a whole year sounds like something of a dream for many people.
Can you imagine? Visiting different countries, interacting with the different people and cultures, not to mention the food!
It certainly sounds idyllic.
Well, a travel company from the United Kingdom, lastminute.com, has launched their one-year in travel competition and it sounds like the perfect competition to enter.
But wait, there's a catch, if you live in South Africa or any other country outside of the United Kingdom, sorry to burst your bubble, but you cannot enter the competition.
The one-year in travel competition will see 15 winners receive a year's worth of travel.
According to their LinkedIn post, you don't have to quit your job to travel. This part is a bit confusing for us, because not much information is provided on how the year's worth of travel is split.
After all, if you are working an office job, you generally only get 15-21 days of leave every year, so how would that work exactly?
We're not sure about the finer details, as not much more is provided on their website, but we're not that invested anymore after finding out it is only open to people residing in the United Kingdom.
Bleh...
We did find out though that the vouchers are valid from the 1st of January 2024 to 31st December 2024.
