Telkom will be launching a new video service

The online service will be called TelkomONE.
Three years ago, Telkom announced it would be launching its LIT service.

This service would allow users to buy data bundles, that are affordable, so they could stream everything from DSTV to Apple Music.
Now they have released news for their latest feature, which will feature local music, series, and programmes.

They want to focus on creating local content, including 'mobivelas', lifestyle shows, and much more!
And just in case you're wondering; a mobivela is a new creation that is basically a soap opera, with a very melodramatic storyline, exclusively for mobile phones.
Along with this news, they also shared that they are looking for amateur and professional content producers, filmmakers, and videographers.

If you submit your video, you stand a chance of winning R100,000 cash towards your project!
The competition closes on the 30th of November, so make sure you get your submissions in.
