Teenager fulfills dream of dating fictional monster, Godzilla

No dream is too crazy if you believe in yourself.
Most of us listen to Rihanna singing the lyrics "I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed" and know that it is clearly a metaphor.

But what happens when you not only befriend the monster, but you start to fall in love with it?
Well, Seira Watanabe, a thirteen-year-old, will most likely be able to tell you.

As a self-proclaimed Godzilla mega-fan, she decided to write a letter to a Japanese television show called, "Tantei! Knight Scoop".
In this letter, she explained that she would love to go on a date with the fictional monster.
The show apparently gets a lot of strange and different requests from its viewers, so this wasn't too surprising.

Seira has collected Godzilla figures and merchandise for years and has a vast collection.
And if that doesn't prove her love, she also wrote that her love is so great she would want to marry him!

After being granted her once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, the couple spent their day going on a date to the Godzilla Museum and watched a sunset together.
Eventually, the date came to an end with a hug, a kiss, and a proposal!

Unfortunately for Seira, Godzilla declined her offer.
At this point in the year, there isn't much that can try to shock us anymore.
