'Take a Bite Out Of Crime' - bakery creates sugar cookie with picture of thief
Updated | By East Coast Radio
A bakery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US, took a different approach to finding a burglar who had stolen from them - they baked a cookie with a photo of the thief on it!
This story inspires a whole different approach to creativity. This bakery, which had been a victim of crime, decided to take things into their own hands and try something unique and bizarre to find the culprit that had robbed them.
The Canfora Bakery was burglarised in April, with cash and equipment stolen. The shop owners were luckily not in the shop when the burglary took place, but they had footage of the thief and decided to approach this matter in a scrumptious way.
"Karen and Eric decided to make sugar cookies with the man’s face printed in icing. The idea behind the sugar cookies was that someone in the community would recognize the suspect, and lead police to that person," reports Metro.

Surprisingly, the couple's efforts turned out to help the police get some leads into the case as many Facebook users commented with tips and also took the opportunity to commend the bakery owners on their unique and creative approach of trying to find the perps.
One person commented by saying: "You should offer this service for lost and/or stolen pets."
Definitely an innovative way of doing business and helping out the police department - perhaps the traditional donuts should be criminal-faced sugar cookies?!
