Stepfather faces his fears for terminally ill son

One father has decided to take his love and dedication to new heights - 3,048 metres above ground to be exact.

Josh Collins from Northamptonshire, England has been afraid of heights his whole life.

It is so severe that when he stands on a chair, he becomes dizzy.

But he has gone and accomplished his one goal and biggest fear: completing a skydive to raise money for his terminally ill step-son.

Zach was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at the age of five, which means he needs to be pushed in a manual wheelchair or carried.

They are hoping to use the money raised by this effort to buy Zach a life-changing, customised, all-terrain powered wheelchair.

When the time came to take to the skies, they were experiencing issues with extreme winds and aircraft maintenance (which probably wasn't making him feel comfortable?!).

Finally, he got to jump and dropped 3,048 meters to the ground at 200km/h.

Their end goal is to reach £13,500 and are currently standing at £13,000.

Hopefully they'll be able to reach their goal and Zach will be able to get the equipment he needs.
