Unfortunately the COVID-19 pandemic has put a stop to our New Years plans so while we stay safe and stay home we have a bunch of incredible movies to keep us entertained on our night in.
And if you haven't had time to catch up on some of the best movies that 2020 had to offer why not kick it off with is year's Academy Award-winning Best Picture:
Parasite
From the mind of director Bong Joon-ho comes this incredible South Korean dark comedic thriller that took the world by storm.
And for all the right reasons.
Although you'll have to use subtitles, everyone who has watched this film can agree that it's 100% worth it.

About Time
This British rom-com might be a few years old but it is still as entertaining as ever.
Starring Domhnall Gleeson, Rachel McAdams, and Bill Nighy it follows a young man's journey as he uses time travel to go back to a failed New Year's Eve kiss in an attempt to save his future.
This is NOT a sci-fi movie though but will have you laughing, crying, and experiencing all the feels.

Are We There Yet?
This is a great watch if you're also hoping to keep the kids entertained and awake until the clock strikes 00h00.
A "get-to-the-destination-on-time-while-trying-to-avoid-a-bunch-of-obstacles"-movie starring Ice Cube is a classic family favourite for good reason.

And of course, we couldn't do a list of NYE must-watch movies without giving a shoutout to the movie that is the best fit for this theme:
New Year's Eve
The film follows multiple storylines as it captures how a bunch of different people spend the day/night, while also intertwining many of the characters.
While the storytelling is incredible, the stellar cast should be enough to make you want to watch this one.
It features almost everyone in Hollywood from Halle Berry and Robert De Niro, to Zac Efron, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel, and even Jon Bon Jovi!
There couldn't be a better way to end off your NYE movie marathon!
