In the 21st century, online dating is the name of the game.

Whether someone is sliding into the DM's or just using a good old dating app, the world of digital love has blown up.
Especially considering we're in a no-touching-pandemic and this could be the closest we get to someone else for a while.

Now, usually, when you want to swipe right on someone it's because their physical attributes have caught your attention or they might have a fun, interesting bio that makes you want to get to know them better.
One would not think that a person's name would be one of the things playing a role in the laws of attraction.

Possibly the only time a name could have a major effect on a person's appeal is when they share a name with a dictator or a really bad person.
Although no-one here is saying any name is truly bad because you have no idea what your namesake might be doing to ruin the name's reputation (like all the good names dictators have ruined).

But we're not here to debate whether or not a name is good or bad, because it's a very personal thing and everyone should love their names.
It does however turn out that some names are more attractive than others.

A dating app called The Grade has used its platform and the data it has collected to generate a list of the hottest names in the world!
The app is very similar to Tinder as it uses the swiping feature to determine if you like or dislike someone.

Swipe right = like. Swipe left = dislike.
Using this method of missing and matching, they were able to determine which female names received the most swipes and which male names had the most swipes.
