When it comes to being a catch in the love field, some of the most appealing attributes have got to be kindness, respect, and chivalry, right? Well, depends on the person and what they find important.

But over the years, dating and courting has proven to be much more challenging. For a whole host of reasons, which we will not get into but if you are on the market, then you understand.

But when it comes to being chivalrous, does that mean something different to different generations? We remember chivalry to be a form of respect for not just the opposite sex but for anyone. Holding the door open, pulling out a chair for someone, taking your hat off as a form of respect...

Then there is this...

Others had more mixed reactions, with a few expressing sympathy toward the boyfriend.

“I don’t know whether to find this humiliating or sweet,” @discoreverie said.

Yet the woman was also hailed a hero by others like Instagram user @labella.roxy.001 who asked, “Can she write a book?”

More admiration followed when Instagram user @sti.les commented, “hey that’s me.” Replying to her, @pulchritudelove wrote, “LMFAOOOO officially a legend, not that u weren’t already.”

Check out the video that she posted of herself sitting on her 'boyfriend' or that's what it seems like. It seems that the way people have responded to her post is in a very nonchalant manner, as if this is acceptable.

Everyone in the comments section seems to be praising her for going viral. Is that what this was all about, considering her post says: "this summer's must have accessory is a boy chair"

What do you think? Is this something you would consider chivalrous? Is it like when your partner holds your handbag?
