Qantas airline launches "flights to nowhere"

For those jet setters who can't wait to spread their wings.

Qantas is an Australian airline that has now found a new and innovative way to get people back in the skies.

While some countries, like South Africa, are easing into international travel, Australia is still being cautious.

But they have found a loophole.

Aussies have been able to fly within the country during the pandemic, but now Qantas has launched their flight that will cover half the country.

The idea behind it is to make you feel as if you were traveling far and wide, like most international flights.

In October, the 'Flight to Nowhere' will see a Boeing 787 Dreamliner lift off from Sydney Airport and take passengers over the Great Barrier Reef.

Fun fact: the Boeing 787 has the largest plane windows which means you will be able to have the greatest view of one of the most beautiful natural wonders.

The flight will be a total of seven hours, will include breakfast and lunch, and even a surprise celebrity MC and entertainer!

Sounds like quite the experience! 

Our only advice, if this comes to South Africa, would be to make sure you get a window seat.
