PICS: Iranian woman obsessed with looking like Angelina Jolie gets jailed!
People's versions of perfection can get pretty scary when they become obsessed with the idea of what perfection looks like...
There are many people who have fallen into an obsessive state when it comes to plastic surgery.
And the thing about being in that state is that you rarely are able to see an outcome that fully satisfies your need to look a certain way.
It's sort of like tattoos, everyone who gets them says that they are addictive, just one is never enough.

For this young woman, it was the obsession with looking like American actress Angelina Jolie.
Fatemeh Khishvand, who is known as Sahar Tabar on social media, is from Iran. She became popular on Instagram when she began sharing images on the platform looking like Jolie.
She revealed that she had undergone around fifty surgeries by the time she was just 17-years-old.

In 2019, she was imprisoned by the Iranian government and was sentenced to ten years.
She was arrested on charges of "blasphemy, inciting violence, gaining an income through inappropriate methods, and encouraging the youth to engage in corruption. Her 10-year sentence was regarded as one of the worst jails for women in Iran – Qarchak Prison, which is situated in a desert." (MSN)

It seems that the pics were exaggerated. Khishvand used the magic of make-up and Photoshop to create the distorted images to get famous.
And revealed it was all a guise to gain followers. She was released from prison after serving 14 months due to protests in the country.
"What you saw on Instagram was the computer effects I used to create the image," she told local media, according to news.com.au. (Geo TV)
