Peppermint Crisp and milk snack wows TikToker
Updated | By East Coast Radio
This has got to be one of the coolest things about Peppermint Crisp outside of peppermint tart...
We have seen some crazy food trends shared on social media, but this South African chocolate treat has certainly knocked our socks off.
Just in time for a sweet nightcap that is homegrown and that uses a classic South African chocolate, Peppermint Crisp.
In a video that was shared on a tourist's TikTok page, we see the TikToker try out a South African special. We are surprised to hear that it is a South African special because we can't say we have tried it before.
The TikToker, Claire, calls this little nightcap gourmet and proceeds to try it out.
She peels back the Peppermint Crisp bar and pours some fresh milk into an empty glass.
Then she bites off the ends of the Peppermint Crisp chocolate bar and dunks it into the milk. We thought we knew where it was going (assuming it was an Oreo situation), but it was nothing like that.
Watch what happens when she dunks the choccie into the milk...

We were so excited to see this amazing treat. Using a Peppermint Crisp bar as a straw is genius.
This is definitely going to be added to the list of snacks we enjoy during movie night and it would also work as a Heritage Day treat as well.
